Cool First Mod!

Okay, maybe not a mod by most peoples standard, but I just got 20% tints on all 5 windows. I went with the Llumar non-dyed black metal film that reflects 99% UV and 66% heat. Looks SWEET on my 2 week old 03 WDP TLP. I'm stoked now, I want to do more 'real mods' this time.

Thinking about lowering my ryde. Do all the springs mentioned around here give that raked look? I want the car to remain pretty much level, just lower. I don't have the under body spoilers and don't plan on getting them. Will probably get 18" rims so I can keep a tire with a side wall for a smoother ride. Any thoughts?

Congrats on your first mod!

How bout some pics dare buddy. I'm getting ready to get tint and can't decide on 20% all around or 35% on sides and 20% rear. Strict laws here in MN

I will try and post some pics later, tried once before and it didn't work. The 'law' here in MO is 35% on front, dark as you want on the rest. The law used to be tougher, but it was recently changed and the installers said the cops are more or less relieved and don't check/care anymore, so I went with the darker. IMO it looks better and since mine sits outside I thought darker was better still. I was nervous all day while it was getting done. They put black vinyl on the very top of the back window where the 'dimples' are. Can't tell, very good seam. Lifetime warranty, $239 complete.

Tints were my first mod too.

Comptechs give the rake look. For a more even leveled drop try H&Rs.

Thanks, H&R huh? There are 3 different kinds. The only one that shows an even drop front to back is the Sport Spring. The OE? is only .75, not low enough I don't think. The race series I think will give a More raked look. Am I correct in this line of thinking? Who has tried what and for what effect?

Think most of the ppl on this board with H&R have sports. Haven't really heard anything negative about it. You're right OE drop isn't really low enough for some. I'm not sure about race.
