For some reason on my way to work I had this Mustang tauting me down the highway. I don't pick fights, but I don't typically back down from an invite either. Unless it's just pointless. Well, I thought this was feasible, so I took it. I put it in SS and dropped it to 2nd. We both hit it, and I pull on him and little more than a hood length. At this point I'm like Hell Yeah. Well I'm about to top out 3rd, so I shift to forth. And then it happens. He begins to reel me in (which was only a hood length) and pass me, but before he passes me I shut down like I'm done racing. I was sort of disappointed when I hit 4th, it was like I shifted up 2 or 3 gears or something. Can anyone provide me with some info. on the header. Does it give you any added power in 4th gear. Anyway, the guy didn't want to run anymore. We had like 5 more miles together (only two on the road) and he didn't want any. I thought that was prety damn funny. Ever once in a while I think I hit guys going home from the races, and they probably think one more time before they get home. You see ever other weekend I have to be at work between 5:30 and 6:00 for system maintenance. Anyway the Mustang was a 98 body style, and I think they were the slowest out of the bunch. He did have some sort of off road dumps though. (it was pretty loud) Oh well, it was fun running the "S" though.
