Angry Firepepper Red

i currently have a 1999 firepepper red, one of few in Ontario. I went on the site an to my local dealer this morning, and there are no firepepper red tl-s. Does anyone have any info as to when the tl-s is going to have this colour.
Does anyone have A tls in that new blue, is it as lustrous as the firepepper red.

I am currently shopping for a car. Iwant a TL-S - but I can't belive that all the colors I want it in - they don't offer it. That means red, gold metallic, anthracite or eternal blue.
The color selection is pathetic! Other than that - I love the TL-S. However - I might have to buy a regular TL - since I really want gold metallic with the parchment interior. Or - red with black interior. Can't you folks make some TL-S's in gold with the parchment!!?? It's killing me.. What a huge let down. The colors they do offer it in, are boring, boring, boring.

Ethernal Blue/Parchment
Napales Gold/Parchment

These are the 2 colors that are available in Canada, but not so in US. However, US owners get to choose WDP/Nighthawk Black with either Ebony or Parchment.... which we Canadian can't choose(WDP/Parchment, Nighthawk/Ebony).

Firepepper Red doesn't look as good on '02 as with '01 some how. Maybe it's just me...

Cool

There's no way I would get a TL instead of a TL-S simply because of a color choice!

I also wanted to see the TL-S in red (seems like an obvious choice for a "sporty" type car) but it looks like that's not going to happen anytime soon. However, it did not stop me from buying the Type S in another color

Rick2002:
If the color of a car means that much to you, then why not just get a regular TL? It looks like the performance enhancements of the Type-S doesn't matter to you that much anyways. With the money that you would be saving, you could use it to buy mods at a later time.

Wink

If they had the TLS in red i would have seriously thought about trading mine in. And the color does mean alot to some people. I would never buy a car again if they don't offer it in the color(s) i want. Luckly i like a lot of colors
