one question she has.....can u convert the 99 TL navi to the TV screen/DVD player or not because i know its a hard drive...please let m eknow thatnks alot

 

The navi has nothing to do with watching dvd movies on the screen. You have to buy a separate mobile dvd player and play the movies from there.

 

i heard theres a decoder that will let u play dvd's thru the nav screen

 

damnit! Nobody is answering the question.... the question is if there is any way to watch dvd's on the navi screen. Now, I am a CL guy and not a TL guy but I am pretty sure that the 99 models will allow you to do the same AVC-RGB1/GEX-P7000TV conversion to allow composite signals to play on the RGB monitor. So, essentially you just need to do the conversion and then hook up a portable DVD player or whatever source you want to use. I have done this to my car and I can tell you the picture quality is amazing!
