Post Finally Test Drove TL-S!

Well, I finally found the time to go test drive the TL-S. I know that there have been many "opinion" posts about their test drives so I will not go into full detail of what my opinion is.

I had driven a CL-S before as I was considering one. When I heard there was a TL-S coming out I waited before buying a CL-S.

I found that I liked the seats in the CL-S much better than the TL-S. They are bigger and more supportive. Another thing I found odd about the TL-S was the side mirrors look huge when looking at them from the inside, however, they look just fine from outside... strange?!?!

The last complaint, I have is the seating position in the TL-S is a little funny. The driver seat seemed very high and the passenger seat very low.

Anyway, I think I will still be buying a TL-S soon as I like the exterior look of it far more than the CL-S. These minor complaints about the TL-S were completely forgotten when that wonderful engine passed the 4000rpm mark and the cabin was filled with an excellent engine noise...

Thanks for reading!

The driver seat is height-adjustable, while the passenger seat is not. Somebody who test drove before you, had adjusted the driver seat high. You can lower the seat if you wanted to.

even at the drivers seat lowest position, the seat is higher then the passanger seat... i believe its because of the built-in suspension in the drivers seat

Well, the seat height difference was not a big deal. I only noticed because I went with my friend for the test drive and when we switched so he could drive, I felt like I was sitting on the ground in the passenger seat. I would never have noticed just by looking...

If you decide on the TL-S and you want a little more of a lower lumbar support, I found a website that offers a cushion that will make the driver's seat more comfortable. I don't use it but my husband says it makes the seat much more comfortable. The website is www.comfortliving.com

Check it out! Don't let the seats deter you from buying the TL. There are inexpensive solutions to that problem

Thanks Gabriele! I don't have a problem with the TL-S seats, I think they are very comfy. I just think the CL-S seats are better
