Angry Finally Pictures of my Accident!!!

Hey guys,
Finally got pictures of my accident up. Here is what happened. Driving back from a Tampa Bay Buccanners monday night game Vs. the Rams. Driving down a very dark curvy road at about 120mph and slammed into a telephone pole. Lucky me my friend was behind me and called the ambulence right away. Was in ICU for about a week and suffered brain hemreges, fractured shoulder, and broken teeth. I would have been dead if it wasn't for my saftey belt and my side airbags. I just wanted to let you younger guys know that it is not worth speeding even if you think you have the modifications to back it up. Go to the track and always wear a saftey belt.

fortunately there was no one in the passenger seat - don't think superman could have lived through that kind of an impact. very expensive lesson to learn there, but glad to see that the strutural integrity of the car was able preserve your life.

You have been given a second chance that not many people get. Make the most of it. Good Luck and be careful.

Nice job on your Acura. Be careful with the 330. I have driven the 330 in a BMW school and it is very nice. Holds the road a bit better than out TLs. You are lucky to be alive and there was no passanger.

FVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVCK! not only are you lucky to be alive, be glad your injuries weren't worse and you're not paralyzed!! that's a nasty tin can! man!... , glad you're o.k, the tl held up , although i think your passenger would have got it bad! any car would have the same damage or worse at that speed! i have to ask... what were you thinking doing 120mph at night on a dark curvey road? that's a recipe for disaster! get well soon! DAMN YOUR GOOD. It was Racetrack Road. I was picking my car up from my friends house after the Bucs Vs. Rams monday night game. There are no lights on that road and I was driving back home at about 2am. Funny that you knew that.

lol i knew it... Racetrack road is a great road for that stuff.

What lead you to hit the pole if you dont mind me asking?

By the way, i noticed your dash and trim pieces were painted silver. Bastard. Ive been wanting to do that to my SSM TL for a long time.......

Id say it held up damn well. Even at 80 MPH, hitting a pole at that angle and your done. thank god it wasnt the other side though.

Holy $hit, that is one nasty accident. Just glad you are still with us.

Now just be careful with the BMW cause a more powerful car will also lead to trouble.

I'm glad you're ok, and that you learned something from the accident.

I was just wondering how you got damage on the driver's door. Did they have to use the jaws of life to open your car?

Asif, you were really fortunate, and I am saying this after doing over 120 coming home from a club outside of Philly just last night. Sometimes I just don't know what is wrong with me when someone tries to beat me I just cannot turn down the challenge. I'll tell you one thing though, I was feeling kind of good of how our car is so silky smooth at high speeds, but after reading this not only am I endangering my self, but also others. Good luck!

Ya a car is just a hunk of metal. Never rely faithfully on your car, it will let out when you least expect it, so always be aware. As for the right side damage, yes jaws of life. I got a ticket for something I don't even knowr, my father just took care of it. The Silver trim I did myself. I took them out and spent about a month trying to do it myself spending money on countless cans of spray paint, sandpaper, mineral sprits. Finally ended up just paying some local body shop $300 to paint it with the same stuff they use on the exterior of the car.
I also still have three 18" Dazz Matiz rims. I have got offers of $700 from the other acura board but if you wan't them let me know. They are in perfect condition. Later

Glad to see your better bro. your right, our cars seem like they handle well at 100+ speeds, but only when you do an emergency maneuver you realize the illusion. Thankfully you get another chance without too many battle scars.

Dude he hit a pole at 100+MPH. Nothing would have held up to that.

Anyway, take it easy man, glad your still alive.
