Nice ride!!!

Here is what I was thinking......
Take out orange bulbs on the corner if you're not going to clear H/L. Also why don't you get some exhaust tip if you're not going to get the whole exhaust system?
And last, did you really put that on your side mirror????
:wow:

Thanks for the compliments.
- As far as clearing the headlights, I thought about it, but a little hesitant due to possible leaks.
- And for exhaust tips, I'm still debating on getting a cat-back exhaust. If I decide not to get the cat-back, I'll probably end up with the exhaust tips.
- The sticker on the mirror was my girlfriend's idea. She saw it on another car, so she bought me a pair. Except the ones she saw, said "Objects In Mirror Are Losing" :p It's kinda cheesy, but hey.

nice! I understand that the TL/INSPIRE are basically the same....but it just doesn't look right seeing a TL with a H emblem on it.. same with the RSX....but your car looks great nonetheless! Nice and clean

i think the only reason it looks kinda weird is cuz its red...if it were regular emblems, i think they'd blend in jus fine...
but still, the car looks great!

Very nice TL-S....but I just don't understand the logic of downgrading your "Acura" to a "Honda." I know their the same company and all, but I just don't get it. It pisses me off enough that "Honda" is etched into the windows already. The thing I like about my friends IS300 is the windows actually say "Lexus" and not "Toyota". Oh well, maybe it's just me.......

Lexus used to have Toyota on the windows, as every lexus you buy was a toyota in Japan. Well they got smart, and now they have Lexus as totaly seperate brand to compete with the other big guns (MB & BMW).

They are just not into branding for status as much as Americans are. Same with Nissan, the Q45 is a Nissan over there. Maybe just branding in general, they have cars and TVs with the same name for crying out loud :P

The Honda Inspire is the Acura TL, so really, Acura took a honda and rebadged it, then sold it here, and he is just puting it back to its roots Not saying I would do the same, but there you go.

Also, its the whole cross culture thing, there is no Acura in Japan, though you will see the integra and NSX in Japan with Acura signs, and people here with Honda signs. I think its funny IMO, doing the opposite of each other.

Eazy-d23,
I ordered the door sills from Mike at Value-car.audio.com I also ordered the Inspire trunk lettering and front grill from him also. Mike has great service and I got my items in about 3 weeks.

Thanks Manny020,
The ride with the drop is great. The car feels a lot tighter on turns and just looks a whole lot better The ride feel is almost like stock just without that "floaty" feeling when hitting some bumps. Since I live in NYC, I do have to watch some of those deadly potholes. It took a little getting used to, but I love the drop and the way the car drives.

Question

I've been to Speedworld quite a number of times and it is truly an amazing store .... also Big Boys Toys .... anyway, what exact size were your mirror vinyl and what italic font did you use?? I called Speedworld today and they didn't remember doing the job.

I really think it looks great!

Thanks!

AK_MOBBER,
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The Inspire conversion may not be for you and you think it's lame. I'll respect that, but personally I love it. You've read the debates about this Inspire issue and there will always be people in favor of it and people against it. We all know where you and I stand on this topic. Same case could be made for any kind of mod done to our cars. You may think a certain set of rims are the hottest thing on the streets, but to me those same rims may be ugly as sin.
I don't know about your area, but here in NYC, TL's are getting very common on the road. I did the Inspire change over to make my TL look a little different from all the other TL's on the road. Besides, I love the attention my car gets when I'm driving around. In any case, I love the way my car looks and you're happy with yours.

EvoRTL-S,
Thanks, I've seen pics of yours too and looks very clean. I still have a few Acura items to change over to Honda for a more complete look. Tryin to purchase some Type-S mats and trying to find a clean way to hide the Acura logo on the stock radio. Currently tryin a few things. I'll let you know what I come up with.

Find some acura instead of honda. It like putting VW on an Audi. Nice car though.
