Finally, my transmission problem solved!!!!
Yes, its true... I bought an 05 TL 6MT, and my transmission shifts GREAT! And all I had to do was spend another 30K Actually, since acura client services SUCKS and wont return my calls after my 4th trans failure in my 02 TL-S, the guys at Davis Acura in PA offered me an exceptional deal on a new one. I got 10K for my trade (100K miles and dented doors, needed paint, timing belt, etc.) Plus 1K off from client services, 1500 off MSRP and an additional 3000 from the dealership to make up for all my troubles, since Acura wouldn't kick in.
My old car is currently for sale at Davis Acura Pre-Owned in Langhorne, PA. It has a 10" sub very neatly installed in the trunk, custom fiberglass mounted Delphi XM in the console, and a 7" widescreen panasonic glassed into the dash. I will be removing my DVD Changer and navi conversion (my 05 has Nav). Oh and it has a cold air kit. Its black with tan interior and is in very good shape. Just door dings and LOTS of road chips, but it cleans up nicely. And dont forget to keep a spare trans in the trunk
The 05 is a world of difference, its like a 5 series BMW with shitty handling. It is an incredibly solid feeling car, quiet, and loaded with goodies that I didnt know it had till I got it home. And its a six speed manual. I dont think there is a better value out there than the new TL if you can sacrifice some handling and deal with a stiff shoulder from all the torque steer. That is really the only down side I can see in my first week with the 05. Its an awesome car for the money...

Glad to hear that everything worked out for you in the end. Sorry you had to deal with all the BS up to this point though.
BTW, got any pics of your old car's interior. I'm intrigued by your description.

oh man I'll be getting about 26k for my 02 TL-S from Honda though the courts and it has 93k miles(and 4tranny replacements) should've tryed a lawyer instead of letting Honda capitalize on its "built-in" depresiation due to a mechanical defect. just think Acuras are known for retaining 52% after 5yrs,when the made cars that people wanted to keep after 100k miles.
