Good luck on the new tranny.

Did they compensate you for the 7 weeks? That is such a long time

I hope you read all that was posted regarding the 'lemon laws' of your state. You may be entitled to a brand new car- I believe one of the states mentioned (New York?) had a 4 week rule, i.e. if a car under warranty has a warranty problem that takes it out of commission for 4 weeks the car is considered a lemon and you're entitled to a new one. Check it out.

Thanks, I already checked into that!! One of the stipulations is that the same problem has to be fixed more than 3 or 4 times. This is the 1st time they fix the problem. Hopefully it will be the last!!

Well I just drove back from the dealer and it sure does feel good to have my car back!! Car is running great! I plan on driving conservative for a while, just until the tranny is broken in. I think 500 miles should be enough!! Right?
