Finally...DONE

i know ive been all talk the last few months about how im gonna do this that n the other with my car, and it will all take place during spring break. well now i have completed everything that i could
K&N Filter w/ Removed Resonator, Blue Highbeams, and Full Detail. While detailing, the "3.2TL" Emblem snagged one of my towels and almost snapped in half. So, i debadged that part kind of accidently and proceded with debadging the whole emblem. My Mugen Grille is on its way so is my bodykit. but here are the pictures thus far. And those closeups of the blue highbeams have been requested by Corey (BadazzTL). Enjoy! and feedback would be much appreciated.

Thankz guyz for the comments

I've actually washed my car while there was a slight drizzle. Everyone that passed by was shaking their head in believe..and when my neighbor went outside to get the mail, he jokingly said "..wanna wash my car too?" Hahaha, its good having a garage to put it in right after so I can dry it off. Shit, when you live in the midwest..you have to be prepared for any kind of weather.

thankz bro! i washed teh car w/ dawn first, then used Mothers Claybar kit, which worked wonders for my dads car (the benz) but mine didnt need it that much, then i washed the car w/ regular car soap, then i used Zymol cleaner polish applied w/ an orbital buffer and taken off by hand. Then finally used S100 Paste Wax, applied by hand and taked off by hand as well.

Get some hi-temp black paint. That'd make it look less noticable. Don't get it in glossy if you can, just have it flat black. It'd look nice and blend well. If you want, I bet the mufflers would look nice black. Just leave the chrome tips.

the Y-Pipe is the pipe connecting the exhaust before it branches off to the two mufflers, hence the "Y", it tends to sag and become noticeable under the car and looks quite awful in its rusted state. as for thoes blue highbeams, my friend got those for my from like Target or Walmart. i dont use the highbeams very often so i thought id ad those in for kicks jus to make the housing look blue.

oh yeah, also between the wash and the cleaner polish, i used Meguires Scratch X to blend in some of the key marks that keep appearing. (freikin jealous haters)

I just get some bbq paint and spray right over it. I didn't even bother to sand it or anything. Even it's not perfect you can't see it.

The other way to make your y-pipe look better or hide from view is to drop the car and add a rear skirt
