Finally changed the Cabin and air cleaner filter
Guys, I bought the cabin and Air cleaner filters from the dealer. These parts from the dealer are way high$$. I now realize the price and will know a good deal when I see it. The cabin filters were pretty dirty but not clogged like the air cleaner unit. This isnt bad for 2 years. The hardest part about changing the cabin filters was trying to figure out how to remove those glove door stops. I used Diagonal pliers to snip out that reusable door .....worked fine. Can genuine filters be had for a good price here? It may be wise to stock in advance.
filters-due every 24 months
Fugitive, The cabin filters(takes 2 ) were $23 each and are just pleated paper. The engine air filter is about $33. I have to say that the green engine air filter looks stout....is oiled out of the box like a K&N. The whole thing with tax costed $81,roughly. There are other sources such as PepBoys and Advance auto...will check there prices next time now that I have a price on these.

how to change it
Darkshear, I dont feel like posting pics but can talk you through it if you wish or you can do a search on cabin filters or pollen filters. Let me know, if you can do minor car things this isn't difficult. It is something a car owner should do rather than pay for, besides you will save a bundle in parts alone. QR
