Weapon-R's filter is one of the best. It provides the best flow vs. even K&N and HKS's filters. Don't worry when it gets dirty, it is just trapping dirt.

K&N traps the most dirt but they do not flow the best. A couple of year ago, Weapon-R did a flow bench test with Weapon-R filter, K&N and HKS. It said Weapon-R outflow the other two, I believe Weapon-R paid an independent tester to test it that's why K&N and HKS did not do a rebuttal test.

Best filter is Apex power filter. It flows about 10% more than the K&N, and has best filtration rate. And it is dry type filter, so you do not need to mess up with the filter oil. The Test was done by Japan. I do not have the report, but someone post them before at SHO. Cost around 60-80$. The only problem is the filter do not fit the regular 2.5-3inche pipe. You need do some modification to make it fit.

The worst filter is the HKS. the worst flow rate + worst filtration rate + highest price.

Blitz filter is also have highest flow rate, but filtration rate is not as good as Apexi.
But because the filter is made by steel, so it will last forever.
The K&N is somewhere between those.

Post Which filter is better?

I currently have a weapon-r intake with the funky foam sticky filter. It gets dirty too fast should i put a k&n in instead?
