My fiacee' bought a '99 Mercedes Benz CKL320. Very Nice in all. Last year I was considering a GS400 but decided on waiting for the price of a pre owned GS430. My TL-S with it's 4th transmission is holding up well with over 70,000 miles on the vehice about 30,000 on the trans. Had a idle stumbling problem but a fuel injection cleaning took care of that problem. Looking at a bigger sport sedan, GS 430, RL/300hp, New M45. Oh Yea, I hate the turning diameter of my TL-S. 18 wheeler have better turning radius. The MBCLK 320 can almost do it in my driveway but the TLS barely can make it around the Cul-de-sac. LOL. Want to send out a special thanks to "NYDesi80" for getting me that lens for my cracked foglight. Quick delivery and special attention to detail. ^5 Dawg! Question: You guys opinion on next car up from a TL-S. I mean what would you buy to cruise in when you are approaching 40 and want some to say that you made. Oh Yea. Mercedes is not my style and BMW is not reliable as of late. A older 7 series is also on my list. Take Care all.

If MB and BMW are out of the picture, Lexus GS, Audi A6 and Jag come to mind. I'm not a big fan of Audi (friend sold his 2004 S4 in less than 6 months 'cause of numerous problems) or Jag (reliability?) so GS it is!

My 03 TLS build date of Dec 2002 is still holding up and no transmission issues so far. Even though the TLS is a good family sedan, I do agree with you that the turning radius is unacceptable..... a Boeing 747 can do better. Look into a Lexus LS430.
