Fender Trim does not fit!
Got the fender trim from SNOOK, tried to install, but the holes do not line up with the holes in the car! (Front wheel wells)
I will show Tim at the CT Meet , but those interested in them should hold off.

Oblio98,
Ok, let me first say that I don't know that much about cars, so if this is a dumb question -- be nice. But I need to know: What function does the fender-well trim serve?
I've been to the Acura site; built my "own" TL-S; and when I'm choosing accessories I've always wondered what the heck that thing was and did. I've also noticed that when folks announce their new TL-S purchases that they don't mention getting the fender-well trim thrown in. Or am I seeing things?
Thanks,
V.
(puts on flame retardant suit -- just in case)

Don't worry about asking questions around here. We all have questions we think are "dumb", but that is why Tim has this oasis on the web. Once in a while you might get a post like "Geez, we discussed that ad nausium a week ago, look it up!", but usually right after that, someone will give you your answer.
At any rate, I always wondered what the "Fender Well Trim" was myself, so one day at work while I was bored and snooping around the site, I ordered them for the hell of it.
They are like small molded black plastic pieces that "allegedly" fit in the wheel wells. I would imagine that they protect the edges of the wheel well from chipping or denting. This is especially good in a parking lot or garage situation, where you might have a car or other object hit yours in the wheel well area.
The front ones attach to the plastic "clips" that hold the inner wheel well trim on. Unfortunatly, the mounting tabs on the trim do not line up with these clips!
That's the deal!

Too late for me I guess, some inconsiderate shmuck opened their door into my car hitting my passenger front wheel well chipping off a small fleck of paint. Wonder how the trim would look on my color.
About the fitment issue, was that prt designed for the new TL?? Maybe its for the 99-01 model as the fenders are different.
