I say do it to your car a let us all see how it turms out. Personally not a big fan of stick on carbon fibre and wouldn't consider doing to my own car but to each his own

Yes please do it, I want to see how this looks, since I have never seen a CF hood on our TLs.

How about...

Instead of getting a Fake CF trunk vinyl, we just get 10 ppl who are willing to get a group buy and ask a company to make one for us?

I'd like a CF hood and CF trunk for the 02-03 model. Someone get on it and get a sign up sheet going.

The only reason to get a CF hood is for weight reduction...a CF hood does not make your car look better (unlike a bodykit), in fact it can arguably make it look worse because it doesn't match your paint. So having a fake CF hood serves no functional purpose, and no asthetic purpose...

Its like doing this to your TL:

...serves no purpose, and looks retarded...

ummm I would buy one for weight reduction, then I would get it body painted.

And no to the vinyl

Why do people do this to a TL? If they wanted a big, ugly wing they should've bought a Civic or something.

That's where my aluminum siding went...the bastards stole it right off my shed!

And no thanks to the carbon fiber tape...also, I wonder what it would do to your paint if you did decide to take it off...

Ok don't do it, I've seen this first hand on a ricer Honda it looks cheap you can definitely tell it's fake and it cracks in no time. First off I'm not sure what TL you're running but I drive a 99 and I've just started modding it and I've already found a carbon fiber hood, they make it for 99 00 and 01 second gen TL's, if you're driving an 02-03 then you're up shit creek cause i dont think they make those anymore.

NO. The only people who would even know what a carbon fiber hood is know that it's not carbon fiber. And those who don't will say WTF why is his hood gray? or won't care that your hood looks different.

So no. Spend your hundred bones on a used CAI or something.
