165 in a bone stock 2008 E92 M3 during the Drive for a Cure. I really wanted a cure apparently. BMW haven't done the event since then...

 

120 in a Subaru forester could probably hit 140-145 but I believe the governor stops it at close to 130 as for the TL the fastest I have been personally driving the car is 115 as cops tend to scare me now even with my radar.

 

Went 125 in my tl, seemed like it was running out of breadth, it was still climbing slowly but i had to let off the gas

 

update - 135mph on my TL-S. i could've kept going but the highway i was on was notorious for cops

95mph- 01 acura tl, stock, taking it higher later

 

120 in my first car, a '76 Olds Cutlass...like riding in a really fast boat.
105 last night in my '03 TL-S, no prob, about 3K RPM...had to slow down for my exit.

Being a passenger of my friends modded early 90's GTA T/A.

I remember being on the highway screaming passing cars in the e lane pinging sand off the cars we were going by. (3-5) at a wack.
150 Speedo was burried easy.

I would say I've been atleast 160
It probablly was not the smartest thing,we were on lunch break ,mid day.
That's when I was young.
Now (my car) rarely see's 90 +

 

135 on 87 Starion, can push more but to scare that the poor old thing fall apart. 137 in stock 97 3kgt. 150+ in 92 Stealth, all at night time with some friends, and every body drive their own car. Not doing it any more though, to many cops now.

 

135 in my 2000 tl-p and it still wanted to climb but was scared to go any faster

 

i drove 2006 nissan maxima se at 130mph. it was very scary during night time on countryside road.

 

On an empty stretch of highway with the closest person about 5 miles away, even though it's still not safe, but i topped out my TL-S. It was near 150mph.

 

just over 150 in my 99tl, my buddy was pulling on me in his same year and governed at 158

 

156 Turbo Supra, 91 w/ some mods.

156 is the redline limit for the 5speed.

 

The highest I have touched is 120 mph on my '00 TL. It was on the highway from Salt lake city -> Reno (I -80).

I loved the ride, the car was so stable, silent.. ooh!

135 back in 2007 going to virginia on i-64 in kentucky. didn't go faster because i saw cars a few miles ahead. car was still stable and still wanted to go faster!

yes they did. i believe it was a 2.7

 

ah, i'd never seen nor heard about them, i thought 98 was first year.

 

Yes they do 2.7 liter same as the earlier Acura Legend.

 

98 was the 1st year of the v6 3.0 rated for 200hp

 

110 in a 4 cyl accord is slow ..., i got 117 in my 94 one

a C series motor to be more exact, but yes just an updated Legend motor from way back in the 80's

and one of of the first years of the J series motor (actually 2nd year iirc, first year of the J series was the 97 3.0CL)

update- week 1 125mph (too much traffic to push more, my tl-s was asking for more but i couldnt give in!)

 

140 many times in my 02 TL-S. @ 140 im in 4th gear @ like 5,500 - 6,000 RPM. @ 120 im @ 4th just opening VTEC.. (5,200).. Crazy.. all stock could have topped it off.

 

and ill tell you, doing 140 in my TL-S felt much more stable than doing 140 in my wifes old 09 GTI TSI 2.0T 6 SPD Manual.. Too much body lean for me..
