Fast tire wear
Why are my tires wearing so quickly?
two of my OEM Michelins were replaced at ~14,000 miles. I got two Sumi HTRs to replaces them.
Then two other OEM Michelins got replaced at ~25,000 miles. The replacements are two Sumi HTRs.
Now I have ~37,000 miles and all four Sumis can use a replacement (I thought these Sumis were supposed to have a long tread life, 360)
The Sumis look OK on the sides but are pretty worn in the middle.
I have been rotating them regularly. Also I had a 4-wheel alignment done some time ago (plus there is no cupping, so I don't think there is an alignment problem)

if the centers are pretty worn you are either over inflated, burn rubber, or are hard on them.
you have to remember high performance tires dont last as long due to the softer compunds used in making the tires.

Thanks Yaron2.
I do drive fast and don't slow down like a grandma in the corners (but I don't fishtail either). But I almost never burn rubber when I accelerate.
