Thumbs down Fast and Furious joke

What a weak ass movie!!!!!

Totally unrealisitc!!!! We'll I'm spoiled since I'm orginally from LA when we started the underground 11 years ago.

Now since import cars and import racing have gone mainstream Hollywood jumps on the bandwagon and f###'s it up. They have no f###'n clue. Colorful cars, show cars, NOS shots, driving under trucks, it's a joke!

I'm not surprised though. I had a feeling a Hollywood made movie of our culture would be glamorized.

Don't waste your money like I did.

Ebert gave it 3 stars, which is surprising since he is notoriously hard on this type of movie. He gave Gone In 60 Seconds 2 stars.

Yes, I'm sure the movie pales in comparison to the real thing

Just saw the trailer, not bad lo. Never seen a Hollywood movie made about compact racers. I mean might as well see it when it comes out in videos.

The movie may have the wrong concept about import races, but I do enjoy the movie lo. At least the stuff they put in the imports are the real thing. Or it could be the age thing cause I'm only 17.

i just got back from seeing the movie and i thought it was hot. Hollywood protrayed racing as it does everything else. It over exaggerates everything to make it better and more exciting, if they were to make it exactly the way it is in real life why not just make a documentary of it. Its a movie, nothing else.

BTW did you noticed how stupid ass kids got all amped up after the movie? I mean the movie made me want to race but I didn't act upon it. the moment i pulled out on rt 1 i had about 3 riced out shitty ass cars **** with me to see if I wanted to play Finally when I hit rt 9 I shitted on this riced out civic at the line, but didn't take it past 50mph, I just wanted to prove a point and cruised my way home at a safe speed

I just came back from going out with friends. I saw the movie a few hours ago today. I know you can't really compare it to gone in sixty seconds, but i felt this was more realistic. The stickers, colors, overuse of nos (every car had it), was unrealistic, but it wasn't too far fetched considering that this is a hollywood mainstream movie. I thought it was pretty good, and the fact that they had cars that interested me did make me like it more. That supra was nice, although i doubt a rich old guy with a ferrari would race like that. the acting tho, was seriously pathetic. that liutentant or whatever, the black cop was one of the worst actors i've ever seen, so was the other cop with the glasses. i think Vin Diesel did a pretty good job tho, and paul walker was okay too.

The movie was pretty cool, wasn't too bad, can't expect to much out of a movie like that. The funny thing is that everyone in teh parking garage were rallying around. It was the funniest shiet. It was at midnight when all the kids were out. So I just balsted my stereo, and played right along side them. Very fun!! Lost several hundred miles of my tire tread though. Oh well, I showed some riced out 90s hondas out on the freeway. For those familiar with the the Bellevue Galleria, it was in that underground!

I saw it at my local Muvico. The movie was pretty good. I just didn't like the ending. The other good thing was that the Muvico theatre hosted a car show right in front of the movie theatre. There were nice hooked up Supra's, Silvia's, etc. There was even a 10 second Mitsu Eclipse drag car by Dynamic Turbo. Cool movie, great car show, fine azz ladies. What more could I ask for?
