Fast Blinking Turning signal problem
i bought aftermarket clear tail lights for my 2000 tl and when i installed these new yellow led bulbs for my turning signal, it blinks fast...does anyone know how i can make it back to the normal slow blinking?

LED utlize less power than normal bulbs, so the car thinks that the turn signal is out resulting in the fast blinking. There are resistance kits you can purchase that will eliminate the fast blinking.....check this site out http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...gi?product=CAR and its called RL-650 Load Resistor kit. Hope this helps

agreed with sxlova07.
I've been using LEDs for a while, but I never put the resistors on because I've noticed that when LED hyperblink you can see them in the day time much better than when it is blinking at the normal rate.
The clicking doesnt bother me, my radio is always on

Read the FAQ (scroll down approx 1/3 of the page to: "Turn Signal & Bulb-Out Warnings System Problems (Load Equalizers )" section):
http://autolumination.com/installation.html
The LEDs use less than 1 watt of power while the stock bulbs burn 25 watts or so. The load equalizer is essentially a resistor that burns the additional power so the relay won't hyperblink. You can get it from that site or the other sites lists before, and follow their installation directions.
You can also make your own by going to Fry's (if there's one around) and buying 6.8 ohm resistors with a 25-watt power rating (slightly higher ohm resistors work too ~+0-4 ohms if you can't find 6.8 ohms). Make sure it's 25-watt power otherwise it'll blow. The 25-watt ones look like a roll of lifesavers rather than the lower-power ones which are super tiny (smaller than a cigarette). To install them, just hook up one end to the + and the other end to the - for the turn signal circuit. Oh and the resistor gets hot so place it away from wires etc.

I think its damaged for sure. I remeber back when my friends odyssey got hit, one side of his tail light was crushed and the other side turned out to blink alot quicker.
