Farewell to my 2nd Gen Family!

Farewell to my 2nd Gen Family!
I bought my 2002 NGM TL car back in Feb. of 2005 a few months later in June, the transmission crapped out on me. I didn't think too highly of my TL but after the warranty fix over the past 6 years this car has proved me wrong time and time again. The TL has taken me through harsh winter commutes keeping my butt warm with the sometimes-it-gets-too-hot heated seats. It has kept me rolling in style the moment I lowered it. Had many compliments from friends, family and even passing by strangers. Although I love the awe-so comfortable ride of the TL, I feel that it is time for me to move on. So here is my farewell.
... Oh and also look out for my part out thread over the next week or so in the black market.
Here are some pics from over the years starting with recent:
It will look like this in the coming weeks:

kill you till you die
Another AZINE member bought a new CTS, the sunroof and trunk leaked...Nice cars yeah, but pieces of crap. Plus they makes them so you cant even work on them, You probably have to have Cadillac reflash the ECU just to change the spark plugs Everyone I've known who purchased a Cadillac regrets it. A Lexus is a reliable vehicle that doesn't loose 15K in value when you drive it off the lot, and there are plenty of mods available. I will do anything in my power to persuade people not to buy them!

definitely stick with a lexus. as for which model, definitely either a GS, IS, or LS.
i have the 98-00 ls400 and i LOVE it. it reminds me of the 2g tl sometimes.
the 98-05 gs300/400/430 is overrated to me. but if you get the 06-09 lexus gs, those are niceee too. new ls' are too balling for me. is' are nice too but headroom and interior space is small.

Test drive whatever you feel like and buy the car that you like after you've done research.
Sad to see your car go, I never got a chance to see in around Toronto.
It'll probably be weird seeing your car bone stock again, no?
Will you be purchasing new or used?

Do you HAVE to sell it to get the new car? I regret getting rid of mine, no matter how much "nicer" my newer car is.
Goodluck. It was a nice unique car. NGM - the redheaded step child.

Dude ... sorry to see you go! You had a nice ride ...
I haven't been to a GTA meet in a long time!
Once you have your car issue resolved, be sure to post!
Cheers.

Another one bites the dust. Sad to see. Not trying to treadjack but thanks to the winters and State Farm screwing me over on my premium, I had to retire my TL as well. Everything started rusting underneth by sitting too long and its just not worth fixing anymore. So much invested, now will become just a bunch of pictures and memories.
Anyways, my threadjack is complete.....
Hey Volly, have you thought about the G37 at all? I'm certainly loving mine.

volly, a cts is only worth it if you lease it and get rid of it when new vehicle warranty is over, other than that its garbage, the 3.0 did have the timing chain issue some got motor replacements but on the other hand the 3.6 is reliable, but all the other trim items do mess up....but if ur still interested in a GM and need a vin check or help finding one, shoot me a msg im tight with humberview wholesale.
