Falken ZE 512s or Sumitomos HTR+???

i was about to order a set of Sumitomo HTR+ 215/50/17s but i recently heard very good info about Falken ZE 512s. they were rated #1 A/S tires by consumer reports. anyone have/heard of these?? for the price u cant beat sumis, but for $15 more i may have to look into them. any opinions???

I have had them on my 01 tl for about 2 months now. They ride great, are a little stiffer for cornering and work very well in the wet and most importantly the look great when clean! Guess you can tell that my advice would be to get them you won't be dissappointed with their performance and they are a great buy. Oh yea and so far the wear is good I have logged about 4,000 miles with very little noticable depreciation.

I have Falcons, they are a decent tire. OK tread life and overall good performance with minimal road noise. I am getting some Perielli p nero m+s tires soon though. Take a look at them, they are supposed to be a great tire. The falcons are a nice looking tire for a fair price! See if they have 225-50-17/ I have the 215 and am going to go wider to a 235-45-17 tire on my type-s wheels! God luck.

Then go with the falcon a good looking tire, with nice all season performance, If they have 225-50 -17 get those if not 215 is fine, They do the job and look good too!

Hows snow traction on the Falkens? I have Toyo T1-S tires on my summer 19's, but those are 3 season tires. Wouldn't even try to skate on the roads with those in the winter.
