Question Factory v.s. Aftermarket Spoiler

I have question... What's the difference between the Factory and Aftermarket spoiler. I am interested in getting a rear spoiler and the factory one is like $700+...dang........I was..umm..no..

I saw one on this site, how good are they? Please let me know. Appreciate it.

My dealer wants $895 for the spoiler. I got it down to $500 to save him from getting my color w/o the spoiler from another city. At $500 I would go with factory. Installation of aftermarket can give you a headache with spring tension, wiring, etc.

Cool

Or you could just buy the Acura OEM (factory)spoiler from Tim on this site for $279 already painted and have the dealer install it which should only cost $75-$100. That way it would only cost you $350-$380 and it will still be installed by the dealer (so the tension springs, etc. should all be fine)....

Thumbs up

I just bought the factory spoiler from Tim unpainted for 154.00 with shipping. My body shop said that they would paint it and put it on for 200 dollars more. About half of what the dealer would charge.

BTW-Tim told me his spoiler didn't require the spring upgrade.

I'll let everyone know if it's worth it.
