factory interior for 1999 TL

To surprise my brother, I am looking to get him a shift knob for his 99 TL. Is the factory interior color BURLWOOD? There are two choices of Acura shift knobs at the dealership: Burlwood and Mahoghany. I want to make sure I buy the correct one. Thank you in advance.

burlwood is the right one. Mohogony is a color they use in the rl and offer the shift knob on the Tl for some odd reason.

Make sure you get it for a 99Tl. The 00-03 knobs won't fit.

Actually, the stock 1 that comes with the TL-P is black leather, at least that's the 1 my car had.

just get a Pilot one for like 40 bucs at your local pep boys or autozone. They come with the rubber gromets that you acrew in. They fit tight and look great.
