Factory Alarm Sensitivity (2003)TL

Please tell me there is a alarm senstivity knob or something i can do to change it .... if not is there a way to do it at the dealer or do i need to buy a alarm system.... Thanx --- Smooth

Is it going off when it shouldn't?
One of the door, trunk, or hood switches has a problem.
Others have had trouble with the hood latch.

no there is these pesky kids sitting on my car and im fed up with it.... im tired of %$#@% buffing my car cause kids do not respect people rides so if my alarm can be setup up for what i need, someone could help me adjust the sense of the alarm

the factory one isnta real alarm...sumone could break ur window and it wouldnt go off...u have to get an aftermarket one that has a sensitvity adjustment

The factory alarm does not have shock sensors. The only way the factory alarm would go off is if one of the doors were opened with it set

you can add a shock sensor to the factory alarm pretty easily
