F.... I screwed up my hood. Need your advice.

Ok, so Im an idiot. I was putting in a new battery the other day, and when I was done I forgot to put the battery cover back on. Would be a problem except that I put the cover on top of the engine. Forgot it was there and closed my hood. Or tried to at least. BAM! Didn't shut, just kinda bounced. F. Looked under the hood, saw the cover. Looked at the top of the hood. Saw the dent. I can't believe I was so careless with my baby. My question is do you think I could tap the dent back down without screwin up the paint. Its acually really small but it drives me crazy everytime I walk up to my car. Normally I wouldnt mess with this if it was dented in. but since the dent is from inside the hood I was thinkin it would be do-able. I wanted to see what you guys thought first tho. Really dont wanna mess it up anymore than it is. Thanks all.

Agree with that.
let the pro do it.
If you do it yourself and you f**k it up, you'll be sorry.

that sucks man. Don't worry about it though. You're not the only idiot. I did worst with my previous car. Working on my car, and left the rachet on the engine and closed, big dent.

Oh my bad haha. Right on. There don't seem to be too many female TL enthusiasts on here. Ill keep an eye out for ya when I'm cruzin around school. You have anything done to you car that would make it stand out? Theres a few TLs I see around campus but I don't think any of them are on this forum.

Yea thats harsh. I guess I'm lucky the battery cover is made of plastic instead of metal. A little softer than a set of ratchets. Did you get it fixed or do it yourself?
