buy gto headlight covers(jc whitney used to sell them cheap back in the day), get the clear instead of the smoke. mask it. paint the INSIDE so the outside gets a nice glossy look. cut them your tastes or leave them whole. you'll save at cool $100 bucks.

*NOTE*
I don't actually know if gto makes headlight covers for the TL. I've done this for other cars before and it works great.

 

I've been waiting for 3 months for a company in the in cali to get them in. they should be here w/in a couple weeks. i will post when they are availible. i think the run about 250-300 unpainted.

what some people do is buy those vinyl plastic strips and cut them out to look like eyelids. looks pretty good too

maybe its me but i have seen that plastic vinyl tihng ppl do to thier headlights to give it that look, and to me its bad. i just think if your gonna do something you should do it right and no short cuts b/c i think thats a short cut. but then again to each his own. just me 2 cents

some show cars DO you vinyl because its better and sometimes quality of eyelides are cheap and they arent perfect. you should try vinyl, its not as bad as you think.

what do eyelids look like on a TL? i've seen them on lotsa cars..but never on a tl. Can someone post pics?

i have been setting up my car for shows... and to be honest i have the value lids and i think they look a hell of alot better than vinyl... its just my opinion
