External trans fluid filter torque spec?

I've seen an unconfirmed source saying it should be 16ft-lbs...is it just the same as hand tightening? Anyone know? Thanks.

As for "hand tighten", guess it depends on your hands. When I replace mine I do use a torque wrench to ensure it's properly tightened.

Thanks. I just did it today, but there's no way I had enough clearance for 24mm socket bit on a Craftsman 1/2" torque wrench. I just snugged it with an adjustable wrench and called it good. There is absolutely no room.
