external mp3 player

Hello all.

Is there a way that I can connect an external "AUX" mp3 player to the factory stereo, using a patch cable?

2002 TLS

Thanx

The mp3 player that I have is the 40gb IPOD.
10,000 songs at 5 minutes p/song avg.

There is a fm-transceiver that the IPOD can connect to. I just don't know how good this will be?
