Extended no start
hi guys,
ive been away from home for almost 2 out of 4 months. my TL battery just died at home. so the car wont get a start until i get back. do you think there will be any issues with the tires or the engine etc? that ill have to deal with when i get back in 2.5 months?

think about adding fuel stabilizer in the tank. also you may have to worry about pressure spots on the tires. I'd also check the engine and underside of the car to make sure no furry creatures have made a nest in there while you were away - fire hazard.
make sure the paint is protected too - car cover or garage.
you also have to worry that people may notive the car sitting there for a while, it becomes a target for crooks.
If you have a friend you trust. Have them come over once a week and drive the car around for 10-15 minutes (long highway speed run rather then short errand trips).
