Question Experience with Cryo-treated Rotors?

I need to replace my rotors and was looking at several options, including the cryo-treated ones.

I was wondering what kind of experience people have had with Cryo-treated rotors (warping, wear, etc.)... read several threads on brakes, couldn't find a thread that mentioned it.

Thank you.

You cant better then cryo treated. They will outlast all rotors and they will prolong the life of the pads. You can by any rotor and take it to a local cryo shop, so instead of using blanks you could use slotted if you wanted to.

Also, what are average installation charges (front only)?

Can't install them myself... live in an apt. and am a little worried of not doing it perfectly right... after all, these are brakes.

Frozen rotor is Diversified Cryo's in house cryo treated rotor & they also sell power slot cryo treated rotors which you can buy from tirerack.com. I personally have not bought from them, but I spoke to one of the people there on the phone.
After my conversation with him I would recommend them. I didnt buy rotors from them because I wanted slotted rotors that were cryo treated and they did not carry them & the cost for them to do it was more than it was locally after I calculated all the shipping costs in.

As far as cost to install front only, call around & ask explaining what you want done. Its not that hard at all so dont let them tell you otherwise.
