looking for afermarket exhaust tips

any ideas?

3G Type S? Search the forum, there's been testing on a new exhaust system for the new S...gains show 11 hp increase and 9 lbs gain in torque; should be available soon...i think?

Exhaust tips huh? You're lucky you can fool around with tips on the 2G haha wish I could do the same

If you just want looks/tips then Magnaflow makes some good ones. Why not try quads out?

these are ractive tips that i bought from Canadian Tire, you should be able to find them over in the states

 

I am also looking for new tips, but I have the oem kit and it seems that if i put bigger tips on they wouldn't fit. so it seems that i would have to have a body shop fabricate some kinda bend so the tips would fit right. just wondering if anybody else has run into this problem....

 

do the tips also make any palpable noise changes?

no tips won't make a noise change, so you won't have to worry if you want to keep the stock sound. If you want deeper sound you can get new tips and remove the resonator from your stock exhaust for about 40bux. I went with removing one of the resonator and Tsudo 4" mufflers.

I think 3A Racing made nice tips.

09_Type-S, another Edmonton TLer. I got a black 99TLp. Havent seen you around.

 

+1 for the 3A tips, that's what most people with the 2nd gens are going with (including me)

 

I bought a pair of the 3A Racing tips on the BM a couple months ago and I think they look great. Definitely better than the factory tips, especially since one of mine was bent up.
