yeah they bolt on easily.

So i want to bolt on some larger round ones, it'll definitely make the car look much more sportier from the rear.

I think dual 3" or 3.5" should do the trick.

I have done some research on exhaust tips for my TL over the last few weeks. Basically, the stock tips can be taken off by loosening the bolt that is on the underside of the tip. Although, when I tried to unbolt one of mine, the head of the bolt broke off! But I must have loosened it enough that I could twist it off the pipe. Probably some WD-40 or something will help the bolt to come lose. The pipe coming out of the exhaust is about 2" wide.
When you start looking at new tips, they come in different sizes for the inlet pipe, outlet size, and length of the tip. The ones in the pic below I ordered from JC Whitney, but they are on backorder till the end of the month. They have a really good selection, just make sure you get polished stainless steel ones, not chrome! Also, some of the ones they have are resonated, so just be aware of that before you order. Good Luck!

A good idea is to dab a little graphite grease on the bolt when putting it back on. This will prevent it from rusting into one piece after a winter or two. I did this when I had to take off the tips on my old Vigor to get them gold plated. 50,000 miles later when I replaced the exhaust, the bolts easily unscrewed.

The one you pictured looks like the Pilot Motorsports but doesn't come in bolt on application; are you going to weld it ??

I already changed my tips on my car and it was pretty tough. The bolts are spot welded so they cannot be easily stolen. What you have to do is bend the base of the tip where the screw is down. Bend it down enough and try to twist it out. Before you do any bending with pliars try and see if they will twist off. One of my tips twisted right off with no work required. We currently have 3 inch tips on the cars right now, so putting the same size but different shape will look ok but still be stock. What i did was get 4 inch tips with a slant and rolled edge. They look great, very sporty. I wish i had a digital cam to take some pics but unfortunately i dont.

Is this on a TL-S? 'Cause mine came right off with no problem.

eyedrj.....the ones in the pic are not pilot....they look just like the pilot ones, though. At JC Whitney, under exhaust tips, there are a bunch of different manufacturers. The ones I ordered are under the section that says "STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST MUFFLERS AND TIPS". I didn't want to order the Pilot ones cause it seemed like they were resonated, and they were double the price. I guess I am assuming that the ones that I ordered are bolt on.....but I just checked and it actually doesn't say that, nor does it say it is weld on type.....guess we'll see when they come in! The ones I ordered are 3 2/3 on the out pipe....but I liked that they were different looking than the standard rolled edge or straight edge.....I will post pics when I get them installed to see what everyone thinks....I will have 60 days to decide if I want to return them or not!

Bigman....
Could you post the info about the exhaust tips that you have, and where did you get them? I know you said they are 4" tips, but I was wondering what the inlet diameter is, and how long they are?? Thanks in advance!
