I almost think i've heard a tapping/rattling under my car over bumps (usually dont cuz i hve the radio loud to cover rattles )
anyhow... i also noticed standing outside with it idling, that theres like this "put put" sound from teh car underneath... could it be a hole or break somewhere?

The "putt putt" sound appears to be normal. Or at least reported by quite a few members, including myself. Doesn't do it all the time, but usually when the car has been driven for a while and is currently idling, and is more pronounced on the driver's side. Like a minature helicopter is flying under your car. :p

The rattle could be a couple of things. Some members have reported loose exhaust hangers which could cause it and some have reported a loose heat shield over the catalytic converter. If you can get the car up on ramps or a lift you might be able to manually jiggle the exahust system up and down and left and right (car cold of course) and see if you can duplicate and isolate the noise.

 

I noticed it two days ago. Thought I messed something up but I guess its normal. I dont hear it from inside the ar though. Just outside from underneath the middle of the car

 

i hear the rattle ocassionally from the inside like doing 65 on the highway and hitting expansions, radio not on....

The "putt-putt" sound I only hear from the middle on the outside at idle....

Yup. Only at idle and can only be heard while outside the car.
