I am thinking of purchasing the comptech mufflers on ebay, the ones without the tips. I think someone on the site already purchased a pair. I know the tips and supporting brackets have to be welded on to the mufflers. I want them to be identical (look and sound) to a complete comptech exhaust (with tips). My ??? is it possible to have the mufflers sound and look like a complete comptech exhaust or is it better to purchase a complete (with tips) comptech exhaust.

i bought them and you should buy them , it costs way less than half of the comptech axle back system while you get 95% of it.

try the magnaflow double wall tips, they are resonated and choose a tip that you like.

installation is not an issue, the garage charges 60 dollars to put them on

go to the magnaflow website and find out the double wall exhaust tips

part number 35121 is way to go if you want the Apexi or HKS style tips, 35164 is round rolled but it's twice as expensive than the 35121.

straight tips never look gd so i recommend you get the angle cut one
