Don't mess with Nos.. buy a cheaper car, then mess with it if you want. After all, its illegal (right?)

Is there a reason why stated "don't mess with NOS". Ask Stylin and Tanner, they both got NOS. In fact, Stylin had it for like 20K miles and he was blasting like 4 bottles per week or two and still no problems. Of course if you shoot like 200shot then you'll probably blow your motor but a 60 or 70 shot, according the everyone I talked to said it would be fine. Can't guarantee your car will still be alive at 100K miles

Its illegal, and it is flamable (I think). Don't know much about it myself but i think you should go with I/H/E and then get the SuperCharger, why do you want to take chances on a $30,000 car?

well, that's a total of couple thousand dollars! compare to a $800 NOS...

I agree but that's power all the time as opposed to power once in a while when you really want it.

Supercharger + NOS =

(my brother and my dad and all of my friends would kill me if i tortured my car with NOS. My dad wants to kill me because he knows i'm gonna fix it up. I think NOS is a bit too much. but that's my opinion.)

Supposedly NOS barely affects your engine life at all if installed correctly and used at reasonable levels. They had a segment on NOS on Speed Vision. Though I still kind of think NOS is the Steroid for cars.

I agree, there is alot misconceptions about NOS. If it is properly installed and you meter your fuel pressure and don't abuse it (like AC said) stay with a DRY 50-70 HP KIT and not the WET FOGGER 100-250HP KIT. it is the best bang for the buck!!!
Do you think putting a SuperCharger is not gonna put any stress on your motor/trans in the long run?
BTW - I'm planning to get the SC when it comes out but I wanted to see if I could hit 13's without it. I was thinking about SC with NOS but I don't think that the trans would hold up!!

Behnam,
If your talking street legal, what is now days most mod parts(Fake HID bulbs, those ugly CVC Altezza tail lights, most exhaust/headers/CAI, all coilovers, even our Inspire tail lights(not DOT approved) are not street legal anyway!
NOS is not flamable, you can't light it! it's combustible when you hit a certain temperature

BigPimpInDaTL,
I thought the AEM CAI, Exhaust, Headers and V-AFC were very impressive but man nothing compared to a instant shot of 50-70HP!!!!
Hard to beat 70HP/$800 but, and I do mean but, plan to spend $40-$50/a bottle on refill and you'll get about 1 minute of juice(good for 1/4 mile drag racing but not good for freeway racing)which I don't approve of in the first place, well atleast not all the time sometime you just gotta smoke some wisea$$'

Im not an A-B racer. I just want the power around town. Id rather pay the however much for the SC (if ne one knows how much it is leme know) and exaust and whtever else. I dont want no 1/4 mile boost and then no more. Plus ur right (whoever said it). It is possbile to f*** up the engine, so I wouldnt put it in this car. My dad said If i f*** this one up, ill be buying th e next car
