Whats a good not to expensive exhaust for a 01 TL. I'm lookingfor something thats sounds good and not like a fart can .

 

Custom Magnaflow Axlebacks?.. Tsudo Axlebacks? Mid-muffler + Resonator removal?

It would help if you state a budget:

Yeah, if on a low budget.... and the original pipes are still good, try either the mid -muffler delete or remove the rear mufflers after the "Y" and replace with extended tips. Otherwise, check the available cat-back set-ups for our TL's. Prices vary depending on brand quality.

These are just rear muffler deletes with welded on truck tips.

 

I love my mid-muffler delete but I kept the resonator. yanking the res makes it sound ricer-ish imo, and as it sits now it got a nice, noticeable growl that doesn't drone a highway speeds, and with the addition of a CAI, its just enough noise to get the point across without being called a "Johnny Ricer"
