MANNN, FINALLY gonna get the tein ss installed along with my OBX SS headers
fuck the headers, I'll test my luck with resonance

Only paid $75 for the headers and the shop chargin me $70 for the install
I guess i lucked out waiting to put these off until I got a hookup on the install

Wish me luck with the headers, if not only $150 down the drain and i'll end up gettin alphawerks headers...

One question...Does the amount of a drop you have on the SS have anything to do with the likeliness of the shocks blowing? I heard the guy i bought it from say that but i didn't really believe him...

Anyways DAMNNN something new for the car makes it feel like a new car again, cant wait shit...
I would be gettin the EDFC to add on too, but I want to get an exhaust system first....

back to the topic, I want an EDFC baddddd, but i think an exhaust is better than the edfc for the time being, because im gettin a deal on some mufflers for just a little more than an edfc
what should i set the shocks on the teins to? i want it soft as a pillow fuck handling for now...I know i wont get that luxury feel though...

 

$75 bucks, where did you pick them up from? I paid $400 when they first came out and didnt have very good luck with them. Hopefully things will work out for you.

Got the headers in today, and fuck i was scared as hell mannnn.
When I first started my car, that shit had CRAZY resonance, and i was thinking if its like this....i might just put my stock ones back on. BUTTT they just forgotten to fully tighten the bolt right by the alternator and after that it was all gone.

So NO resonance with my OBX SS headers and I feel it pull more at high rpm, can't wait till the ECU adjusts fully to it.

And as for the suspension my dumbass forgot to take the lugnut lock, and now i cant find it....its somewhere int he garage and im gonna have to dig thru it tonight....FUCK
If I loose the lugnut can I go up to the dealership and get another one?

Suspension and exhaust tommorrow (if i find that fuckin lugnut)

 

bump, too lazy to start another thread, but how much do dealerships charge to buy a lugnut? and what kind of proof do i have to show them? or do they just get it when theyy see it on my car?

22" resonator 2.5 in piping and the dual single wall magnaflows.
I'll get pix up after i finish off with the tein ss, hopefully monday
