Post Is everyone ok????

What the heck is going on in seattle??
I was sleeping in Odegaard on the third floor untill I felt like someone was trying to wake me up.
The shaking got rougher and I heard a girl shout out "Oh my God!"
I woke up and saw my books moving around. Then I immediately headed under my table. For 10 sec I had no idea what was going on....Then I realized that we were having a earthquake. A girl under my table was freaky out, she kept on saying "what should I do? what should I do?"
Honestly, I had no idea what to do either but stay under my table.
The ceiling and the lights were coming down all around us.
When the temors stopped, I told her that I'm getting the fu#k out of here. We both ran down the stair and headed out of the library.
Just sharing my earthquake experience with ya'll.
I hope everyone is ok and their TLs?
Yes, my baby is fine

Glad to hear you and your TL are fine. I am too. Anyways, I was in my school cafeteria when it struck. It was very small, and i initially thought I was dizzy. then i figured out it was an earthquake, and a bunch of us ran outside. It was kind of crazy. Luckily no damge or injuries. My room and bathroom are in a mess. Oh well.

I was in the health sciences center 5th floor and people initially didn't know what was going on. Then after i shouted "earth quake"! people docked under the tables at the same time. It was kinda scary and I could hear things falling and stuff. There were some TV's in our classroom and they were shaking like mad but luckily none fell down. After it was over everyone just got out of the building...

I as walknig by the Bon Marche and saw the window moving. I was like, "Damn, thats some strong wind". Then I was like, "Wait a minute, its not windy"... Then I look at the building across the street and all the windows are bulging. Then it got worse...

I started hearing bricks hit the cover over the sidewalk right above me and a huge plate glass window about 3 windows down from me exploded into the street. I ducked into a doorway.

There were about 20 people in the middle of the street while it was going on. Some guy was yelling at me to get out from under the covering and come into the street... but above them there were cables strectched between buildings and power/phone wires. Screw that!

After it was over he started yelling at me and I was like, "Don't yell at me, you don't know me fool".

Some lady had passed out, I went to help her but there were already like 10 peeps there.

Everyone was rattled all day at work and nothing got done.

Glad you guys are OK - some people weren't so lucky. I guess Mikey (TLon19s) is OK too. That's the same size quake we had here in '89 so I know how that feels. Freakin' Pacific Rim baby!!!
