For everyone with headers, high flow cat or exhaust I have question about smoging your car? I live in Ca. and they are reel strict about mods. Have any of you guys with the mods motioned above ever have a problem with smoging your car. I want to get those mods but not if it is going to make it hard for me to smog my car.

i don't know what you'd need to do besides produce a CARB number...i think...but there are alway places which will look the other way for a small fee...

how far is vista from SF??? cause i may know of a place in SF...plus you don't have to worry for another couple of years...isn't it four years after you bought the car that it needs a smog test???

 

The Comptech headers are CARB approved and have a plate with the certification number welded to the middle tube on the front side of the engine. Here's a pic on JZ39's CL-S.
