Event Info -- June 6th, MICHIGAN
Hey, Michigan crew.
2 Fast 2 Furious is coming out on June 6th. There'll be an event at the Celebration Cinema in South Lansing, just off 127, on the opening day.
It's hosted by the Celebration Cinema and AR-Racing of Michigan. Shaheen Chevrolet could also make a presence with a few Z06's, whatever F-body they can get their hands on, and other cars.
The theater has agreed to reserve a section of the parking lot for the cars, give out 25 free passes for the movie, and if possible, reserve a section in the movie theater for the crew. The lawn section by the entrance is big enough to hold several cars, and some of the best cars will be showcased there. Don't worry about your cars getting damaged, as we will have a group of people watching over the cars at all times. And if you wish, you can put up a "Please don't touch the car" sign. I also hate it when people dry-touch your car and scratch the hell out of the clearcoat.
A local radio station has agreed to at least mention the event on the air, and maybe even come out for a couple of hours, and the theather is putting it in their phone system to let people know about it.
It's located in a big shopping mall area, and there's a Hooter's across the street.
