Question Engine tune up, transmision tune up???

I just bought a 99' tl-p 91,000 miles....
the car is in very good condition, 1st tranny, no problems whatsoever.

ok.... my question is, do i need to do engine tune up?
transmition tune up?

My friend has a shop, he'll do it for $240 both (engine and trans)

is this a good deal?

is this really needed?

the manual says change your trans fluid at 90k. i recommend saving about $3k for a trans in the future regardless.
