engine ticking sounds at idle??

engine ticking sounds at idle??
i get this constant ticking sound when at idle... especially when its cold coming from the driver's side firewall right behind the steering wheel....i just got my timing belt, water pump, sparks changed...

any reasons why?

Purge control solenoid. Around $50 from the dealer. Install it yourself.

will it affect my car if i dont replace it?? what exactly does the part do?

I just noticed mine was doing today too. then it stopped. weird

Temps are dropping below 45 in alot of places and thats when it becomes most noticeable

My car is doing this also. It doesn't seem to be affecting the car in any way. Is it necessary to replace it soon?
