First of all I love my TL.s I am very particular about noises comming from my car what ever they may be. I am hearing a rattleing or pinging from the motor I do not think it is the gas quality I have used all different brands of 93 octaine. The noise only happens when I moderatley accelerate, (if I step on it no sounds) it normally happens around 30 to 40 mhp at about 3000 rpms and stops when cruise speed has been achived. Does any one else have this problem or know what it could be. Thanks for the help

 

I would take it to the dealer. If there is a problem, like a busted motor mount or something, it could only get worse.
