Engine Restorer...?????

Has anyone used the Engine Restorer?
It's "guaranteed" to restore compression...etc etc...
I was wondering if anyone has used it and actually did a compression test before and after use to see if it actually works.
I have about 70,000miles on my car now...so, just curious.

I used it on an old 75' V8 Mercury I owned back when. It did slow down the oil burning but it didn't stop it completely. Granted that was in the era when polution control devices were first used on that car. I put it in around 120k but sold it at around 150-160k.

Its good on older trucks and cars, but the TL engine does not need it at all. It probably wont hurt it, but it wont help.

i tried this on one of my cars a couple of years ago with good results, but i wouldnt try it on my tl i dont think. i would go get the little gizmo from autozone and test your compression. i would doubt youre going to have those kinds of problems on your tl (i could be totally wrong though). it has teflon in it to fill tiny cracks in the walls of your cylinders and things, it also stops leak passages. good product, but i dont think our cars would really need it.

Waste of money. My TL has 89K on it and aside from good fuel injector cleaner I haven't done a thing. My mechanic keeps telling me that I need absolutely nothing done.
