engine mounts

ok so ive read a few of the threads on this but couldend find the answers to this. if i missed, im sorry. i know that my tranny ones is bad (the clicking when shifting) and atleast one of my motor mounts is bad (engine moves up a few inches)

basically for the last 6 months my car shook a little bit. in the last week or two, it shakes alot. so im guessing i had one broken, and now another broke.

in my mind these are ASAP fixes, because it moving could hit something or unplug something. is that right?

also, i read that the stock ones are terrible, so if i replace em, will they just break in another 50k? or is there some aftermarket ones i should use

the only aftermarket choice I heard of is a solid poly filled bushing - lots of vibration transferred into the cabin versus the ride you are used to

the acura mounts on most years have a vacuum line run to the mount to stiffen it on hard throttle
When the mount fails it makes a mystery vac leak and engine miss

The real prob is lack of an engine torque bar -so the mounts take a lot of abuse

Fix the probelms~ then see if it runs better
