Emerg Brake

Am I the only one who has left their emerg brake on? I’m usually VERY good about the brake but my wife may take the TL out and I have driven it for a bit before noticing it. To that end, our '03 MDX will actually very quickly let you know that the emerg brake is on by letting out a buncha loud beeps.. I wish they had that on the TL.

i dun use the foot brake at all and thats the reason y.
i always forgot to release it.
If its a hand brake, i'll remember but if its foot and its not in my face, i forget it all the time.

I constantly use every night cause our garage slopes down and simply putting in park would put too much pressure on the torque converter and make it hard to shift out of park. So, just put it in neutral, set the brake good, let the car rest on the brake and finally put it in park. This makes it sooo much easier to shift out in the morning!

I've even taught my wife the importance of this procedure and she does this without a word from me on her Cr-v.

It may wear the brakes out early, and it puts a bit of strain on the tranny as well. Ever smelled a guy taht has left is e-brake on for about 3-5 blocks or more?

I left the E-Brake on the first day I had my car. My dad and i went to Mc-d's to eat after buying the car. As i pulled out of the parking lot, there was a loud squeaking sound. I freaked out and came to a stop, looked at the gauge cluster, and noticed that the brake light was on. Thankfully, its never happened again
