Emanage and fuel Injector questions

I have the supercharger and plan on going to some serious boost with a new type of blower. Nothing more than 10psi of cold air on 93 octane gas. I am getting an emanage and I know how many people have used the Blue with great results while some have had issues with the jumpers. I want to get the ultimate and I want to hear from those of you who HAVE USED the ultimate on the TLS. My tuner has done several ultimate’s and is very good but he has never done a CLS and can’t speak for which features can be used if any from the ultimate over the blue on the CLS. I want to know what your tuner was able to take advantage of with the ultimate over the Blue and if it has even been done here. I have searched and can’t come up with one instance where the ultimate was used. Besides the fact that the ultimate allows you to tune the AF map more precisely through the RPM, what else have you been able to take advantage of with the ultimate over the blue. I am very familiar with the features of both but what were you able to use to make more power with the ultimate over the blue?

Additionally, I am beginning to have issues with pressure dropping in my fuel system once the engine is off or if the ignition is turned on and the engine is not started. I have a mechanical fuel pressure gauge under the hood and I am not maintaining pressure as I should. It takes about 2min. for the fuel pressure to drop from 40psi to about 5psi once the car is turned off. I think either my FPR is leaking back through the return line or my fuel injectors are suffering leak-down (failure to make complete seal when closed). I have ordered the FPR rebuild kit from CT Engineering (Comptech) to eliminate that as part of the problem as well as replacing all other sources of a fuel pressure leak other than the injectors. The main issue here is that I think the 100psi fuel pressure spikes on the injectors has worn them out. Have any of you used larger injectors and still been able to maintain a steady smooth idle. I know the S2K injectors will work and think they are 370cc. I am pretty sure the CLS injectors are 270cc but not sure. I would like to bring my fuel pressures way down to say a max of 70psi and increase the duration they are open with the emanage while still maintaining a steady smooth idle. What has been your experience with larger injectors and which ones will work in the CLS/TLS? Have any of you run larger injectors without a problem without an emanage and if so which injector did you use? Thanks, Jim.

I dont think a single person here has used the ultimate. We only have a few that have used a blue. As for the fuel pressure problem?? i would start with the fpr. If your going to do any thing with the fuel injectors i would upgrade to the S2k

There are 2 diferent kinds of E-Manage. The Blue Which many have run, and the Ultimate which Jim is talking about. The Blue will tune your car great (with a a good tuner) I think he is going to be the Guinea pig for the ultimate.

Search the CL side if you have more questions on teh Emanage as more over there have run it.

zombies!!!

so im tuning soon and i need to know the 99 tl injector flow rate.

this says that the type-s injectors are 270cc

what are the 99's?
