Question Electronic add-ons...

I've searched to see if they make any kind of electronic computer, chip or ignition add on. The only things I can find are the Apexi VAFC, Superchips ICON and the Jet V-Force Power Control module. All claim increased performance, up 20% power increased. Coming from a Ford background, many of these type of products don't do squat.. on GM cars, they do.. So what about on the Honda/Acura cars? A worthy investment or waste? Are there any others?

Thanks
Rob

I heard that the jet chip will give u a extra 15 HP and its lik e250 bucks. It worked down to like less than 20 bucks a HP, but if u looked at the diff between the CL-P and the CL-S, there is a 35 HP gain and its a mere 3grand more. thats like 60 something bucks a HP. No tto bad if u think in terms of that. I may think about the chip, but i am more interested in getting the exasut and springs 1st. Droppin her and gettina better grunt after launchin off the line is what I want. YEH BABY YEH.

I've done some research on the Apexi V-AFC, but nothing on the jet V-power chip. Do you have a website that i can go to for particular chip. I thought that jet chips were for domestics cars. Thanks for help!

You can try http://www.jetchip.com/imports/vforce.cfm

some of the highlights:
The JET V-Force Power Control Modules (PCM) uses the same computer tuning technology found in JET's popular domestic tuning products. A 20Mhz RISC microprocessor optimizes the ignition spark advance and recalibrates the fuel map for optimum horsepower and acceleration.

Modified Ignition Curve
Recalibrated Air/Fuel Ratio for Maximum Performance
Improved 1/4 Mile E.T's
LED Read Out
On/Off Override Switch

Check out bignastys posts in the CL forum on his results with the V-AFC.
