electrical failure?...holy crap...

Hey guys. my 03 TL S nav is starting to scare the shit outa me. recently and suddenly when i'm raising or lowing my windows, it "shorts out"..and stops raising and starts again....REALLY fast like in a matter of fast clicking. Then it stop working completely for about 5 mins...then after a while the windows start working again....is this a bad central (driver's side) switch problem, or does it sound like messed up electrical problems that odds are will never be fixed by acura just made worse by taking it to them.

It doesn't happen every day but when it does it gets me thinkin. Any suggestions?

BTW about 3 months ago i had the car in for service for a sunroof switch problem and they had to tear the whole are apart to fix the sunroof motor.....

Take it back into the dealer... it sounds like the motor is not working properly or some loose connections may be found.

There may be a contact between the window and the track that gets connected when teh window is at the end of its travel up or down. That contact switch mat not be making its connection and the motor keeps tryign to move the window further even though it can't.

Kinda like the switch in an elevator for each floor.

I know, it sounds wierd.....
