To elaborate on my previous thread... tranny..

Whenever I go WOT, the 3rd gear upshift at about 4500 RPM. The really weird part is that it's like I'm hitting the rev limiter at 4500 RPM. It would keep going up 'til about that RPM, then bounce off the rev limiter (yes, I know it's at 7200... that's why this is so messed up.), then upshift into 4th.

I don't want to drive 2 hours to take it back to the dealership, though. Argh. They seriously need an Acura dealership in East Lansing.

Its your VAFC II...I experienced the same exact problems with my VAFC I. I just disconnected the battery for a bit and after I reconnected the battery everything was fine. Try that before you make the drive to the dealer.

The V-AFC II isn't even connected to the TCM. I don't know how it could be causing the problem??

fsttyms1 -- Yeah, I think it's going, but I'm not too motivated to drive 2 hours to take it in for service.
